MPC made African people in both ring hand and regular toy soldier versions.
This is the ring hand version.
As far as I know there are only three poses.
One in Western style clothing.
One with arms down.
And as you can see in the center rear, one with one arm up and one arm down.

I had these when I was a kid. I think they were linked to a popular TV series, Ramar of the Jungle.
I remember the series, vaguely.
